Category 6a High-Density cable (Cat6a High-Density), also known as Mini Cat6a or Cat6a Slim has a smaller overall diameter than the standardized Cat6a improving bend radius and flexibility. Like the larger diameter Cat6a, Cat6a High-Density must meet more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise, and it meets and exceeds all requirements for 10GBASE-T applications while maintaining backwards compatibility to both Cat5e and Cat6. The Cat6a High-Density provides performance of up to 500 MHz and enables data centers to save space and increase airflow which helps maintain a more consistent operational temperature while minimizing downtime.
